In the 1980s I started writing software using the old Apple 2e using Apple's BASIC language. I learning Turbo Pasqal, as well as Cobal and also ran a Wildcat BBS (clear up to 1998). On the Wildcat BBS platform I authored many games and utilities that are STILL in use today. I also started programming for Windows with Visual Basic for my own business. I gradually realized that the BBS world was going to go away because of the internet and decided to pick up one of the most prolific programming languages - PHP. Today PHP is used on more than 80% of all web sites - in other words, I don't think it is going away any time soon.I also work with JS, and am very adept with SQL.
